What is mediacolors.com?
mediacolors.com is a digital picture internet webshop. Here creative professionals from all branches can find and download photos for both electronic and print productions.

What size are the pictures?
The size of our material is normally up to 27 MB. Higher resolutions could be requested direct from our office: office@mediacolors.com

What does it cost using the material displayed at mediacolors.com?
All photos at mediacolors.com are subject to copyright laws. Royalty fees must be paid.

How do I pay?
You will be billed. Payments are able either by money wiring to bank accounts in germany or switzerland or via paypal. Payments by creditcards actually are not possible.

How do I find what I'm looking for?
With the search engine you can go several ways to locate the photos which suit your needs. To assist you, we have prepared a simple search or an advanced search. Also we have categorised all the pictures in a category tree. Pictures matching your request will appear on the search results pages immediately. Now you can review the selection. Additional advice for conducting efficient searches can be found in the searchhelp section.

How are photos priced and then licensed for use?
License use and fee could be requested direct from our office: office@mediacolors.com

How are photos delivered?
Photos are available online in three sizes:

From the searched images site (thumbnail status):
• LOW RES not watermarked (approx. 60 KB)
• LAYOUT watermarked (approx. 200 KB)

From the basket (registered user only):
• LOW RES not watermarked (approx. 1.5 MB)
• LAYOUT watermarked (approx. 700 KB)
• HIGH RES (up to 27 MB).

Once you agree to the fees, you will be offered three options for delivery of your selection:

• instant online electronic delivery (download)
• email transfer (please contact us office@mediacolors.com
• CD-ROM (please contact us office@mediacolors.com

For shipping on CD-ROM we charge Euro 4.50 per picture and additional shipping fee.

How does the online download work?
Once you have entered the login section, you can download them straight onto your computer. Pressing first the control key on "mac" or the right mouse-click on "pc" opens some more possibilities.

What is the "basket"?
The basket is like having your own personal file cabinet. If you copy the pictures you are interested into the basket (by clicking on the "basket" button underneath the picture), you can collect and then review the picture(s) there, make a last editing, before you transfer the ones you want to download, to the download area.

What is the "lightbox"?
The lightbox is like having your own personal file cabinet. If you copy the pictures you are interested into the lightbox (by clicking on the "lightbox" button underneath the picture), you can collect and then review the picture(s) there, make a last editing.

How are LOW RES and LAYOUT pictures downloaded?
LOW RES watermarked
You are NOT registered as user.
You are on the sites containing all the searched images (thumbnail status).
Please place the cursor arrow directly onto the picture and press the mouse button (if you are on a PC hold down the right-hand mouse button) and drag and drop the image to your favorite desktop or folder.
You can open this image in Adobe Photoshop or an equivalent program but please keep in mind: you may use these Low Res pictures only for internal layout purposes.
Registered users also are able downloading LOW RES images also through the normal download area.

LAYOUT not watermarked
You are NOT registered as user.
You have enlarged any picture (preview status) from the site containing all the searched images (thumbnail status).
Please place the cursor arrow directly onto the picture and press the mouse button (if you are on a PC hold down the right-hand mouse button) and drag and drop the image to your favorite desktop or folder.
You can open this image in Adobe Photoshop or an equivalent program but please keep in mind: you may use these Layout pictures only for internal layout purposes.
